30 Letters In 30 Days

Today, June 24, 2010, I took a vow to not write all day or the following day. Just to take a break from my writing and relax for once. That lasted all but 6 hours and here I am, writing. But within the 6 hours I was actually surfing the net and came across something I found very interesting called 30 Letters In 30 Days. I don't know the exact origin of how it started, but I'm actually going to do it for the whole month of July and I thought it would be cool if some of you guys tried it with me. The beauty in this is that you don't have to be a writer, just be yourself. Sometimes we need to just express our inner thoughts out loud to find solutions to problems we have or may not even have known we had. At the end of this post is going to be the "rules" on how to participate in 30 Letters In 30 Days. I suggest you just pick out which letters you'd like to write if you feel you wouldn't have time nor the dedication to keep up with this. I'm for sure going to try and do it starting July 1st, so if you want to join me that will be my first post of my 30 Letters In 30 Days that I will be posting on my blog site here.

This is more so for my personal well-being as well as writing practice, so if you think you're going to be part of my Letters then you will and you're going to get the truth as well as everyone else seeing it because I am going to post them in the open for the viewing public...but don't worry, I'm not going to list your names unless I have to.

You can either send it to them (anonymously or with your name) or keep them to yourself.

On this day you write a letter to:

Day 1 — Your Best Friend
Day 2 — Your Crush
Day 3 — Your parents
Day 4 —Your sibling (or closest relative)
